Articles on the site are classified under one or more of these topics. This list will expand over time as we tackle new issues.
In general, articles about a particular industry will be labeled “microeconomics”, though this can be somewhat arbitrary — for example, is education an industry (micro), or is it a fundamental aspect of our society’s competitiveness (macro)? Likewise, an article about the U.S. stock market could be considered micro — NYSE and Nasdaq do comprise a (relatively small) industry; or macro — the market is where companies raise investment capital. We invite you to comment on any article, if you have an opinion how to classify it!
